On the occasion of Paris Design Week 2025, Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs is joining forces with its neighbor, the Rooom Service gallery, for a unique collaboration from September 4 to 13.

 

Boarding Rooom

Designed as an invitation to travel, the immersive exhibition Boarding Rooom takes place at the heart of the 4-star Parisian hotel, designed by interior architect Fabrizio Casiraghi, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.

A true homage to the golden age of travel, its atmosphere evokes both the grandeur of a transatlantic ocean liner and the refinement of a legendary train such as the Orient Express.

The Concept

Structured in two chapters, showcased in two spaces brimming with artistic inspiration, the exhibition Boarding Rooom explores the poetry of movement through the lens of contemporary creation:

- Chapter I: The Object of Travel examines the artifacts we carry with us, intimate witnesses of our mobility.

- Chapter II: The Journey of the Object celebrates pieces that, through their material, form, or history, resonate with a sense of elsewhere.

 

This exhibition reaffirms the vocation of Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs: to be not only a place of passage, but also one of culture, curiosity, and encounters. By opening its doors to the talents represented by Rooom Service, the Parisian hotel becomes a living showcase for design as an experience.
